The medieval city has maintained the characteristics of the small capital: the streets and piazzas of the historical center, “the Oval Square”, the churches, the towers and buildings all provide an ideal setting for a campus within which experiences can be shared.
In spite of being a small city (85,000 inhabitants), Lucca hosts international festivals and cultural events, like the Lucca Summer Music Festival and the annual Lucca Comics and Games, Italy’s largest festival for comics.
