The registration fee includes admission to the conference and satellite meetings, conference materials, lunches, coffee breaks and a one-year membership to the Complex Systems Society (CSS). Participants will also be able to download the abstract book (in electronic form).

We discourage on site registrations.
All fees are VAT included and include the CSS membership fee (for one year): € 15 for Junior and € 30 for Senior memberships.
The Junior fee includes Conference registration at a discounted rate.
A (low-res) scanned copy of a valid student ID card (academic years 2013/14 or 2014/15) has to be e-mailed to the ECCS registration office (Questo indirizzo email è protetto dagli spambots. E' necessario abilitare JavaScript per vederlo. Subject: ECCS’14 Student Registration). Attendees registered as students will be required to show student ID upon arrival at the conference.

Badge and Access
It is essential to keep your badge with you at all times to be able to access the Congress sessions in the various locations and the other activities. Badges, together with the conference kit, will be handed out, along the whole conference, at the registration desk in the San Francesco Complex, at Piazza San Francesco (see the photo of the entrance below).
Payment and cancellation policy
You have until Monday September 1st to process your payment through our online registration system. If you have not received an acknowledgment of payment by that date, you are invited to bring proof of payment to the registration desk on the conference site. Last minute on-site registration is discouraged, but is still possible. Payment for on-site registration can be made by cash or credit card.
- Online payments are possible via bank transfer or credit card (Visa or Mastercard circuits).
- Cancellation policy: a handling fee of €100 will be charged for cancellations made prior to July 31st 2014. No refunds will be issued after that date.
Please note that Lucca is a small city and the availability of rooms is limited. Please book your accommodation at the same time as your conference registration to avoid problems. Most hotels have free cancellation up to 72 h before arrival date. Please check the cancellation policy of the hotel you have chosen on the corresponding form in the Accomodation section.
